About the Google
Google is a leading American multinational corporation and technology giant, specializing in online advertising, search engine innovation, cloud computing, software development, quantum computing, e-commerce, consumer electronics, and artificial intelligence (AI). Often hailed as “the most powerful company in the world,” Google is one of the most valuable brands globally, thanks to its market dominance, extensive data collection, and technological prowess, particularly in AI. Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., ranks among the five Big Tech titans, alongside Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Microsoft.

Google went public with an initial public offering (IPO) in 2004. In 2015, the company underwent a restructuring, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., where it remains the largest subsidiary and serves as the holding company for Alphabet’s internet properties and interests. Sundar Pichai took over as CEO of Google on October 24, 2015, succeeding Larry Page, who transitioned to CEO of Alphabet. On December 3, 2019, Pichai also assumed the role of CEO of Alphabet.
